Job Summary
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of global commercial billing documents and adhere to all related practices and policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to global businesses on all invoicing and contracts-based billing milestones.
  • Execute the timely administration of commercial documents related to global billing and invoicing jobs.
  • Facilitate follow up calls or correspondence to internal and external clients that have not expedited the execution of contract billing documentation.
  • Work with study monitors at all global locations to ensure billing milestones have been achieved prior to invoicing.
  • Assist with commercial invoicing via E-Commerce Platforms related to electronic billing portals
  • Investigate and assist in the resolution of client invoice disputes.
  • Prepare and mail client statements and invoices.
  • Maintain accurate notes on all departmental documentation.
  • Work with global divisional finance staff to address client billings and questions.
  • Recommend techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state-of-the-art practices.
  • Assist Corporate Collections Department with the collection of overdue invoices as needed. Prepare Proforma invoices
  • Prepare a variety of reports as requested.
  • Perform the management of PO Submissions in box and distribute accordingly.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D) or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 to 6 years related experience required. Prior experience in a contract research/pharmaceutical setting preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Certification/Licensure: None.
  • Other: Must be proficient in the use of desktop applications (word processing, spreadsheets, and databases). Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must regularly operate a computer and occasionally operate other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, computer, printer, fold and envelop machine.
  • Must regularly communicate with employees/clients and must be able to exchange accurate information verbally and in writing.
  • Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • General office working conditions, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $21.50-$26.50 HR. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, and location.

The Corporate Functions provide operational support across Charles River in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Corporate Development. They partner with their colleagues across the company to develop and drive strategies and to set global standards. The functions are essential to providing a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness, to ensure ongoing functional innovation and capability improvement.
