Job Description

Salary: $22-24/hr ($45,760 - $49,920)

Local Property Management company hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for our Tucson, AZ corporate office.

Responsibilities

• Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions
• Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services
• Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
• Data entry of invoices for payment
• Process backup reports after data entry
• Process weekly check run
• Prepare vendor checks for mailing
• Prepare manual checks as and when required
• Maintain updated vendor files and file numbers
• Maintain a filing system for all financial documents
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files
• Communicate with internal and external customers providing answers on invoices
• Managing documentation for W9s and Certificate of Insurance from vendors.
• Other duties, as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

• Minimum of one to two years accounts payable experience
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of using good judgment and discretion when exposed to confidential information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• QuickBooks experience preferred
