Description:-We are seeking a senior training systems engineer to develop innovative training solutions and recommendations to support emerging requirements, and provide technical liaison between OEM product development teams and internal and external customers.
  • Individual will be responsible for planning and executing training development projects under the assigned Aegis baselines utilizing Agile methodology to build effective teams, ensure cross-team and customer collaboration, and establish efficient development plans to achieve objectives.
  • Support technical meetings, develop and present specialized briefs, report analysis and findings, and adjudicate all comments.
  • Support program planners and program management, track and provide monthly labor and financial updates for program reviews, and support new business proposals.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience directly related to the employment of the Aegis Combat System, IAMD tactical and technical application, mission planning, and training systems.
  • Experience with DOD training programs and organizations, and management experience related to training product integration, execution, and evaluation.
  • Specialized experience related to Aegis training systems and methodology, systems, subsystems, capabilities & limitations, organizations, program and execution challenges and risk drivers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and present training program briefings and content for senior US and FMS government and Navy leadership.
  • Agile Scrum master certification, or the ability to complete certification within 60 days of employment.
Desired Skills:
  • Project leadership or Program management Experience.
  • Experience related to Business development proposals and estimates
  • Familiarization with Surface Navy Advanced Virtual Environment (STAVE) innovation and related systems and NETC development processes.
  • Experience related to Training Needs and Manning Analysis, Job Duty Task Analysis, and Front-End Analysis for training.
  • Master Training Specialist (MTS)
  • Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI)
  • Ability to discuss technical and operational concepts related to the Aegis Combat System (ACS) and the Aegis Weapon System (AWS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel, Project

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
