Job Summary
Manage the development, communication, and execution of Southwest's entry into airline partnerships and develop and maintain relationships with potential partner carriers so that Southwest can successfully launch and build strong partnerships. Collaborate across both Commercial and Operational Divisions to ensure smooth entry and implementation of agreements and working with partner carriers to ensure a smooth journey for all Customers.

Job Responsibilities
Manage a Team accountable for identifying partnership opportunities with other carriers that will deliver incremental revenue to Southwest and enhance Southwest's Customer proposition while aligning with Southwest's Commercial priorities
Accountable for developing a strategy with other carriers and implementing plans to maximize revenue from airline partners that is consistent with Southwest's Commercial goals
Build effective communication and rapport with peers throughout Southwest to actively manage airline partnership and ensure a positive Customer experience
Lead a cross-functional Team responsible for negotiation and implementation of agreements with Southwest's airline partners
Lead a Team that will ensure Commercial, Operational and Technology requirements of our Interline and Codeshare partner carriers are achieved and maintained
Formulate precise and persuasive written material for both internal and external stakeholders
Ensure effective communication of airline partnership strategy and meet monthly with Southwest Airlines Pilots Association (SWAPA) for an in-depth discussion on all areas of Southwest's Airline Partnership work
Ensure team understands how airline partnership fits with Southwest commercial strategy and aligns goals of Team to Southwest's Commercial goals
Ensure that the Airline Partnership team adheres to all Southwest guidelines and practices
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
Fully functioning, broad knowledge in:
Airline partnership
Industry affairs
Network planning
Revenue management
Loyalty experience
Licensing/Certification

Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines Pay & Benefits: Competitive market salary from $152,260 per year to $158,600 per
year depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company. Benefits you’ll love:
