Seeking an energetic, detailed individual to fill our open position as ASC Medical Assistant in our busy urology surgery center. The ideal candidate will perform a range of clinical and administrative tasks which include but are not limited to:

• Prepare patients and assist physicians with procedures
• Collect and update medical histories
• Take and record patient vitals
• Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
• Prepare rooms and ensure all supplies are ready and available
• Maintain appropriate inventory and reorder as needed
• Answer phone calls, respond to patient questions, and take messages
• Assist with the sterilization of instruments for procedures

Medical Assistant Qualifications/Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Must be organized.
• Reliable and responsible
• Professionalism
• Customer focus
• Urology experience preferred but will train
