To support the continued growth of our business, PDG is hiring an Associate Recruiter. This is a full-time remote role where the work will be performed during Eastern Time Zone business hours (8-5 PM). Although this work is remote, preference will be given to candidates who are located in Central New England due to the location of the hiring manager.

PDG’s compensation package for this role includes a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and participation in PDG's annual bonus program.

Position Summary

The Associate Recruiter is a friendly, compassionate, and communicative individual who is responsible for working closely with the Manager, Talent Acquisition to source, qualify, present, and place full-time and contract professionals for internal and client-facing roles. The Recruiting Coordinator is an individual who loves talking with people and is genuinely interested in candidates’ strengths and what motivates them to help them find meaningful work.

This role can be very fast-paced and requires at least four hours per day interviewing candidates on camera.

Responsibilities

  • Actively source and screen candidates for assigned active positions adhering to tight timelines with a keen sense of urgency
  • Proactively source and meet with candidates to develop pipelines for key roles including mining applicant tracking systems, online job sites, and networking with others to source candidates
  • Utilize PDG’s applicant tracking system to track applicants throughout the candidate journey, keeping candidates apprised of updates to their candidacy
  • Staying connected with PDG's approved talent pipeline for updates in skills and availability
  • Participate in weekly touch base calls with the Manager of Talent Acquisition to provide updates on assigned jobs and pipelining efforts.
  • Share company posts, open roles, and network with candidates via social media and other groups or associations to help source candidates and promote PDG’s brand
  • Use every opportunity available to request referrals from candidates
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers, gather feedback post-interview, and identify next steps in partnership with the hiring manager
  • Regularly report progress to hiring managers and Manager, Talent Acquisition, and pivot based on feedback to find the best person for each role

Requirements

The successful candidate for this role will have the following experience and skills:

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in recruiting or another professional service-related role
  • Prior experience successfully working remotely
  • Learning and development and/or experience recruiting for learning and development positions strongly preferred
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Expertise using a PC (Windows) laptop along with Microsoft applications.
  • A high-speed internet connection is required along with a quiet well lit professional workspace.
