Let Mommy Sleep Miami is a small business in Miami - Boca, FL. We are professional, agile and our goal is to Let Mommy Sleep Nurses (RN & LPN/LVN) give nurturing care to newborns and evidence-based postpartum education to parents through the night. Nursing students, CNAs, MAs, Techs, and Nannies with baby care experience are also encouraged to apply. Applicants must be current on their flu shot, fully vaccinated, and practicing COVID19 safety measures. Caregivers are expected to feed, diaper, soothe, swaddle and gently care for single babies and twins through the night. Breast and bottle feeding support, safety instruction, and mental and physical postpartum support for new parents is expected. Shifts are typically from 10pm-7am during which time caregivers are expected to be awake. Let Mommy Sleep is a complete team of baby nurses, lactation consultants, postpartum doulas, twin experts, and newborn care providers serving families in the DC Metro area since 2010 and we are now expanding into South Florida These contract positions allow our caregivers to make their schedules, and we offer continuing education, hands-on mother/baby experience, and an excellent team to support you. We are seeking an experienced Babysitter/nanny with a flexible schedule who is dedicated to working directly with children. Our ideal babysitter/nanny is comfortable working with infants, children and teenagers and loves playing games, establishing long-term relationships and helping to make children feel at ease in new situations. This is a part-time position during weekdays from 6:00 am – 6:00 pm and every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Teach children age-appropriate skills.
• Educate children about good nutrition, dental healthcare, and emotional wellness.
• Solicit feedback from parents.
• Be consistent and persistent when enforcing rules.
• Listen to parents’ concerns and respond appropriately.
• Coach children on how to resolve conflict with other children.
• Prepare children for the next stage in their life.
• Plan fun activities for the children.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
