General Description:

The primary responsibility of the Bartender is to provide excellent service to all guests who approach the bar, prepare and pour drinks, and keep the bar area cleaned and stocked at all times. Handles all cash transactions accurately.

Essential Functions:

Communicating with people, representing the organization to customers. Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time. Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients such as wine, liquor and related bar service to guests at assigned stations. Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes; keeps the station stocked with all liquor, glasses, and accessories necessary; accounts for all beginning cash register bank, all cash, complimentary drinks and charge receipts. Operates a cash register, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change. Possesses a keen sense of timing and is capable of discreetly speeding up or slowing down his/her station as necessary. Resourceful with beverages, fruit, and supplies to maintain low beverage costs.

Greets and welcomes all guests pleasantly and professionally. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies. Adhere to basic hygiene procedures and grooming standards, demonstrate CALV standards. Control and limit wastage. F & B Operations Manager gives any other reasonable request.
