The Office of Innovation & Technology (OIT) is the central IT agency for the City of Philadelphia headed by the Chief Information Officer (CIO). OIT oversees all major information and communications technology initiatives for the City of Philadelphia - increasing the effectiveness of the information technology infrastructure, where the services provided are advanced, optimized, and responsive to the needs of the City of Philadelphia’s businesses, residents, and visitors. OIT responsibilities include: identifying the most effective approach for implementing new information technology directions throughout city government; improving the value of the city’s technology assets and the return on the city’s technology investments; ensuring data security continuity; planning for continuing operations in the event of disruption of information technology or communications services; and supporting accountable, efficient and effective government across every city department, board, commission and agency.
The Associate Business Analyst reports to the Enterprise & Governance PMO Operations Manager. This role supports functions that drive the success of the technology and services related to various business processes that align with the City’s technological strategic priorities and future-state agile, digital city experience. Working primarily with Enterprise & Governance Project Managers and more senior Business Analysts, the Associate Business Analyst learns to collaborate with cross-functional technology teams and business process stakeholders, executing supportive tasks on technology related business process initiatives from requirements through implementation, assessment, testing, and continuous enhancement.
As a member of the Enterprise and Governance PMO, the Associate Business Analyst is expected to uphold the organization’s mission and contribute positively to a collaborative, human-centered, innovative, accountable, transparent, and inclusive culture within the Enterprise and Governance PMO.
Salary Not to Exceed: $60,000
