Daher is seeking a strong Business Development Manager to establish new customer acquisition and growth of existing customer base within the South East region of North America. Qualified candidates may reside in NC, SC, FL or AL.
Job description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively search, qualify, develop, and engage new strategic, multi-level relationships
- Identify targets with 3PL opportunities and formalize those into account plans/ strategies in Salesforce
- Shared responsibility for creating and managing regional strategic plans
- Develop local business plan for increasing overall NAM business development within region
- Build and execute winning 3PL warehousing or industrial services proposals by creating a convincing value proposition and illustrating DAHER competitive advantage
- Work closely with target customer and internal DES/ Ops to create formal 3PL proposals and sales pitch
- Identify and share customer strategies with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure product development is aligned to changing customer needs (SOW)
- Represent DAHER in relevant industry trade shows and marketing events
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of time.
- Perform regular customer calls and exchange as well as regular physical customer visits depending on customer needs

Profile and other information related to the position
Skills Preferred
- Strong logistics know-how, 3PL experience , brand knowledge
- Ideally a seasoned BD professional with large Aerospace network, customer inside knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience
- Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Capable of professionally managing confidential information
