We are looking for a full time Certified Medical Assistant to join our fast-growing practice in the Washington, DC area. Revolution Medicine, Health & Fitness is a membership-based specialty practice on a mission to provide a comprehensive, affordable, and accessible weight loss solution to all, through an innovative technology-driven platform, integrating evidence-based weight loss medicine, a preventive approach to individual health, and personalized nutrition and fitness.
We are primarily a telemedicine practice and see our patients virtually.
An ideal CMA to join our team will have at least 1 year of primary care experience, and be passionate about preventive health, nutrition, and exercise. The role may evolve to working with patients in a health coaching capacity, meeting virtually with patients to help them lead healthy lifestyles.
The role will start with an in-person onboarding period (being local to Annapolis is ideal), but ultimately shift to be almost fully remote. An ideal candidate would love the flexibility of working from home.
Experience with Athena EHR is a plus, but not mandatory. Familiarity with patient registration, insurance reconciliation, and running medication prior authorizations is required.
