In this role, you will aid in the development of new products as well as support the maintenance, roll-out, and continued development of existing products in the EMR&CM portfolio by serving as a subject matter expert for all matters related to pharmacology. This includes but is not limited to providing pharmacological expertise both internally and externally regarding documentation, display, and decision support tools that include drug-related data.

You are responsible for

  • Serving as Subject Matter Expert on the topic of pharmacology for all EMR&CM products with a particular focus on the Critical Care portfolio
  • Providing input on the pharmacological strategy for all EMR&CM products as needed
  • Comprehending and effectively explaining formulary changes to all relevant parties, internally and externally
  • Providing superior pharmacological consultation to all relevant parties both internally and externally
  • Facilitating ongoing maintenance of custom formularies

You are part of

A global software-centric, EMR and Care Management Business. The Clinical Lead Pharmacist is an individual contributor role reporting into the Clinical Lead. The Clinical team within the EMR&CM business has strong focus on Customer Needs and Patient Safety. We staff and empower our clinical teams with the skills necessary to provide valuable clinical input including, but not limited to, alignment with clinical protocols and workflows, risk assessments and customer education.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • 3+ years’ experience working as a pharmacist
  • Pharm D degree (required)
  • Understanding of Critical Care workflow and requirements as it relates to pharmacology
  • Experience working for a software development company, preferred
  • Experience with FDB, NDDF databases, preferred
  • Experience working on US government contracts, preferred
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
