Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm
This position will support the Lung Nodule Clinic as well as Cystic Fibrosis Program.
This position will require occasional attendance to Mercy events outside of standard work hours.
Overview:
The Nurse Navigator reports to the Pulmonology Clinic Practice Manager and is responsible for coordinating the care for patients of the Lung Nodule Clinic. Also responsible for promotion and coordination of the Cystic Fibrosis Program. This position will assess the patient's individual needs and develop a plan of care to meet those needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 (three) years' Nursing experience required.
- Required Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- Certifications: Current Arkansas state RN license. Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Other: Ability to reach and communicate effectively in English. Good computer skills. Team player with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with all levels of internal and external patients, medical staff, support/technical staff, outside agencies, and community.
- Other Preferred Skills: Bilingual, Strong public speaking/presentation skills
