Overview
Our Compliance Technology teams are responsible for delivering solutions which will automate business workflows, improve data quality, and enhance reporting for the Compliance function. We are seeking Engineers to work on our Google Cloud adoption program with experience of working with the cloud solutions, re-platforming, and re-architecting solutions onto cloud. You will work with our delivery pods in building engineering solutions. With responsibility for engineering delivery, activities within the role can include automation of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), security, data or compliance controls into reusable components which can be adopted by the application team; and development of reusable workflows and pipelines to support full automation.

What You’ll Do
Contribute to Infrastructure as Code in Terraform, Github pipelines/actions or automation software to accelerate the adoption of cloud
Assist in the definition of automated processes to enable reduction in manual toil
Support the roll out of controls, supporting adoption, and getting feedback from early adopters, enhancing controls to meet additional scenarios
Assist in the delivery of best-in-class SDLC, DevOps and Security Automation
Collaborate across the Technology, Data, & Innovation (TDI) areas (such as Cloud Platform, Security, Data, Compliance areas) to create optimum solutions for the Business, increase re-use, create best practices, and share knowledge
Skills You’ll Need
Ability to adopt automation-first approaches to testing, deployment, security, and compliance of solutions through Infrastructure as Code and automated policy enforcement
Hands-on engineering experience focused on building working examples and reference implementations in code
Understanding and experience of key Security topics such as vulnerability scanning, image management and binary authorization
Experience in implementing applications onto cloud platforms and usage of their major components (Software Defined Networks, (Identity and Access Management or Illiquid Asset Monitization) IAM, Compute, Storage, etc.) to define cloud native application architectures such as Microservices, Service Mesh or Data Streaming applications
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Google Cloud Certified Professional – Associate Cloud Engineer Certification (Preferable)
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
