Are you an experienced CNC machinist? Our client in Staunton, VA is looking to add a CNC Technician to their 3rd shift team. This position will safely operate multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure parts are correctly manufactured and prepared for the next workstation. Pay for this position will be $24/hour.

Requirements:

• Ability to operate CNC machinery while gaining knowledge and experience

• Basic math skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and pide with focus on decimals

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Ability to use calipers, micrometers and other measurement equipment

• Basic computer skills

• Willingness/ability to stand for entire shift (10+ hours)

• Willingness/ability to perform repetitive manufacturing activities

• Positive attitude – Even during times of stress, keeps a positive, can-do attitude and works through the issue at hand

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

• Hands-on machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment a plus, or indication of mechanical ability via other tasks such as automotive maintenance/repair, assembly experience, etc.

• Intermediate Math skills (geometry, algebra, trigonometry) a plus

• Proficiency in using Windows-based computer programs

• Strong work ethic

• High school diploma or equivalent education
