Job Summary:


The Content Writer II will create compelling content for Healogics. This role will connect with our external audience and internal team members through the development of engaging, distinctive and meaningful communications that produce an intended behavioural/emotional response; encompassing the Healogics culture. The position will assist in the development of a tone of voice and brand character (copy) for internal and external communications. Through collaboration with the broader enterprise, this role will uphold the integrity of brand content, ensuring a consistent standard and quality across all communications. This role will work cross-functionally to engage stakeholders, act as a custodian of our brand and a champion of our patients and customers.
All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities according to all Healogics policies, Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing communications to reach the media, general public and target audiences across various outlets: campaigns, collateral, web, social media, blogs, newsletters, press releases and other relevant materials and sources.
  • Develop copy for email campaigns, case studies, website content, blogs, testimonials, etc. – includes all internal and external communications.
  • Build the marketing content strategy and roadmap by identifying existing or new, and always compelling, technical content to drive lead generation and conversion.
  • Edit, fact-check, and proofread a variety of promotional and educational materials for physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients, from manuscript through print or digital production.
  • Play a pivotal role in defining and maintaining the company's tone of voice by writing clear and concise copy that embodies Healogics culture.
  • Maintain the brand copy guidelines across multiple channels, ensuring consistency in messaging while finding new and innovative ways to communicate with our customers and employees.
  • Write and edit compelling emails, including subject lines, with the goal to maximize open rate, click-through rate, and conversion.
  • Write and edit engaging copy and content for all communication vehicles for amplification and engagement.
  • Manage copy workflow and meet deadlines across all content projects.
  • Manage communication platforms, such as HubSpot, Monday.com, etc.
  • Ensure all copy is legally compliant by partnering with the legal and compliance team.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Required Education, Experience and Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in, Communications, English, Marketing or a related field
  • At least five (5) years of copywriting experience
  • Mastery of the written English language and grammar
  • Healthcare experience is required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional writing skills; strong line-editing, copyediting and proofreading skills; ability to tailor writing style
  • Broad experience across business strategy, messaging, media relations, thought leadership, social media strategy, written and graphic content development and strategy.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues to develop relevant and realistic plans, recommendations, key messages, targeted cross-channel and audience segment campaigns.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative creative environment
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, self-starter
  • Collaborative team player with passionate, positive, high-energy approach to delivering results
