Job Description

We are looking for a SUMMER/SEASONAL (May - August 2023) associate to help us expand our social media presence on all major platforms, boost engagement, and create captivating short-form videos (20 second Instagram Reels/TikToks) featuring our products and company.

The ideal candidate has a passion for creating engaging and viral content for social media platforms. As a Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality and compelling video content that resonates with our target audience and increases brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Strategize, write, and create engaging content for social media (photos, videos, and blog articles)
• Help manage and grow our social media channels by creating engaging content for Instagram (Reels/Posts/Stories), Facebook, Pinterest, Writing Blog Articles, & Creating Short Product Videos for Amazon/Etsy.
• Engage with customers on our social media platforms by responding to comments/shares/tags, giving likes, and building relationships with our followers.
• Maintain social media content calendars and schedule posts on all of our platforms.
• Film and edit short videos and photos for posts and product listings.
• Stay on top of latest social media trends and present ideas to capitalize on.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with management to establish content ideas and plan for social media marketing calendar.

Skills:

• Creative, with a good understanding of social media platforms and trends, especially Instagram Reels
• Good understanding of Social Media Channels
• Engaging copywriting skills
• Excellent communication skills - able to share ideas and accept feedback
• Energetic, motivated, and friendly, social media savvy candidate who has strong graphic design and content creation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a team

Qualifications:

• Availability: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. NO WEEKENDS!
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms (especially Instagram/Reels!)
• Knowledge and experience video editing
• Not camera shy (you're the main character!) Must be willing to be in videos and talk on camera!
• Experience with Windows OS, design software (Adobe Premiere Pro) for video editing, and content calendars (Tailwind) is a plus!

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.75 - $16.50 per hour
