Provides direct back up support to the Customer Service Support Team in the areas of provider set-up and maintenance and configuration by actively participating in cross training, improving processes within the team and meeting established processing deadlines.
- Performs accurate set up of standard participating and non-participating providers in the Provider Subsystem.
- Researches and processes provider related pended claims.
- Updates and maintains accurate demographic, contractual and financial information in the Provider Subsystem to ensure accurate claims processing and payment, Reviews and resolves issues involving provider related claim processing errors.
- Requests W-9s from providers and ensures that provider tax identification information is accurately maintained.
- Communicates directly with providers as needed to obtain necessary information for set up and maintenance.
