Ready to join the team?
Skilled data analyst responsible for coordinating the optimization of Production Operations data capture processes, standardization, change management, and development of data quality dashboards. Partner with SMEs, data stewards and end-users to refine data standards, compliance rules and governance processes in an effort to enhance the accuracy and integrity of Production Operations data. Assist in data quality monitoring, new data capture request requirements, and data cleanup efforts. Ensure data classification and security guidelines are implemented and followed.
Major Responsibilities
- Partner with functional SMEs and end users to support Production Operations in data creation which includes data request, lifecycle process definition, training and defining data entry consistency across the organization
- Create, organize, manipulate, and summarize data to create concise data quality dashboards, and present on the findings to both management and the professional community.
- Provide expertise on data sourcing, quality, accuracy, and best practices by managing daily quality control, identifying data issues and research suitable solutions across the organization.
- Develop and maintain documentation of business rules and data definitions.
- Create and deliver training on data capture and business processes
- Train and Mentor other Analysts on data quality and business processes
- Performs other/additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 8 years or more of experience in the oil and gas industry, with 5 years minimum in Production Operations data and systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated abilities to work with diverse workgroups and various engineering disciplines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills, with the ability to translate business requirement into technical and functional terms
- Proficient working with relational databases and generating data visualizations.
- Project Management experience desired
- Must have strong organizational and attention to detail
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Must be self-motivated. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must travel as required and attend daily/weekly audio/video conference calls as scheduled.
