ADDIUM is looking for a Data Annotation Specialist:

Position Objective: To improve performance and capabilities of computer vision products and features.

The Data Annotator is responsible for organizing and categorizing various types of digital content, including videos, texts, advertisements, photographs, and images. The ideal candidate should have the following

Qualifications:

• Good attention to detail
• Proven experience with image annotation.
• Proven ability to quickly and accurately identify image features.
• Horticultural or botanical experience or expertise.
• Experience using data labeling software (e.g. labelbox).
• Proficiency in using specialized software programs for data annotation and tagging
• Strong attention to detail for accurately reviewing, validating, and scrutinizing data and materials
• Experience in building datasets for data science solutions
• Knowledge of data categorization techniques and the ability to group data by relevance
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with large volumes of information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A background in computer science, information technology, Botany, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
• Complete a criminal background check

Primary Duties

• Use a mouse to click on images collected in an orchard environment to identify objects of interest and trace object boundaries.
• Communicate with supervisor and flag uncertain or ambiguous images.
• Accurately and quickly annotate large number images.
