Job Description
Lead Forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning, and Service Level management for one of the three Outdoors Business Units with annual revenues of $300-800MM. This position involves working closely with the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure meeting primary KPI’s of On-time delivery, Inventory $, and forecast accuracy. Maintains relationships with key stakeholders with a continuous improvement mindset and a streamlined work-flow in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Position Location: This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast Management
- Develop and run forecasting models by facility and business unit. Includes Wholesale, Home Center, and OEM
- Develop Supplier forecasting models to be share with key suppliers
- Track Forecast Accuracy and implement forecast improvement plans
- Utilize forecasting system to assist in Corporate Planning and Budgeting process
- Provide long range forecasts for Finished Goods and Raw Materials as needed to Sourcing Group and Operations Groups
- Work closely with Marketing in creating new product forecasts
- Sales and Operations Planning
- Prepare for and conduct Demand Planning process updates with key cross-functional groups who have input to the demand plan
- Prepare for and conduct Supply Planning Meetings with each facility.
- Prepare for and conduct Pre-S&OP Meetings
- Work with Senior Manager, Demand Planning and SIOP to initiate and conduct monthly Executive S&OP Meetings
- Build plans which optimize inventory levels while maintaining high customer service
- Service Level Management
- Ensure appropriate KPI’s in place to drive world-class service to customers
- Lead weekly service meeting with key stakeholders
- Drive urgency, accountability and resolution for customer backorders
- Provide feedback into the Slow-Moving & Obsolete inventory process
Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related technical field
- Strong analytical skills & ability to identify trends/patterns across large volumes of data
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Results-oriented individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong understanding of relational databases, including SQL and Oracle
- Strong understanding of Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and actively pursues and drive continuous improvement activities.
Salary range: $54,180-$85,140
