Summary:

The Ingersoll Rand Industrial Technologies Segment is seeking a marketing specialist to execute digital marketing initiatives for our industrial blower and vacuum brands within the Americas region.


The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing and analyzing integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate solutions to end users in respective vertical markets, and have ownership of developing new content marketing activities to support overall demand generation strategies.


The position is part of our Global Demand Generation Team, reporting directly to the Regional Demand Generation Team Lead. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with marketers across the globe, while aligning closely with the brand’s commercial and operational teams in the Americas region. Fluency in languages including Spanish or Portuguese are a bonus, but not required.


Primary Responsibilities:


Campaign Management

  • Execution of Integrated Digital Campaigns: Execute and analyze integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns
    • Utilize Voice of Channel and market research to drive customer focused messaging
    • Effectively integrate campaign elements into overall demand generation and digital marketing strategies and standard work
    • Executes marketing campaigns using Eloqua in coordination with central demand generation team
  • Social Media: ownership of brand social media properties, strategy, content and posting schedule.
  • Vertical Market Persona and Segmentation: Understanding of market segmentation and size for key verticals including wastewater, chemical, pharmaceutical, and general industrial, establishes criteria to build database of customers and prospects, persona development, and defines customer journey
  • Campaign Optimization: Complete post-campaign analyses and reports with future suggestions for optimization and improvement.

Content Generation

  • Identify opportunities to develop content in partnership with commercial channel partners, including Product Management, Business Development, and Sales
  • Project management of content creation in partnership with the central demand generation and creative services teams. Draft and create content as required including brochures, whitepapers, case studies, etc.
  • Project management of video, enhanced product images/renderings, and solution-focused product content in partnership with central demand generation team, creative services team, and creative agency partners.
  • Collaborate with creative services and commercial teams to drive creative imagery and brand elements in alignment with global brand standards.

Channel Partner Program

  • Align with distribution channel partners, commercial teams, and web marketing teams to coordinate and launch channel partner programs with custom content for representatives and distributors across multiple brands.
  • Complete monthly tracking and reporting for Channel Partner review and feedback and recommendations for improvement
  • Leverage creative and technical skills to drive results in conjunction with Channel Partner marketing and commercial teams.

Digital Insights & Lead Management

  • Deploy best practice lead management process with commercial teams, and partner to deliver profitable growth to the business
  • Review, analyze, and organize data across a broad array of digital platforms, including Eloqua, Salesforce, Google Analytics, among others, as means for driving business intelligence and demand generation program optimization.
  • Translate available dashboards and reports into meaningful insights and conduct root cause analyses to optimize performance of marketing programs
  • Serve as subject matter expert for analyzing trends and identifying opportunities to further optimize demand generation program performance

Other Responsibilities

Professional Requirements

  • >3 years’ experience in digital marketing, integrated marketing preferably in an industrial, B2B company
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or a related field with experience in web or digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with end to end marketing campaign approaches (email, social, PR, webinars, etc)
  • Experience in Eloqua or similar marketing automation platform.
  • Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • PC proficient to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Position requires occasional travel. Travel could include international and domestic.
