Job description

This is a key leadership role on the Surface Solutions forecast, planning & analysis team and center of excellence for the organization. This role is key to ensure quality planning that steers the organization toward goals with deep analytics to communicate changes in business performance as well as risks & opportunities. In this position, you will support the monthly performance reviews, quarterly forecasting and annual budget planning process, high value-added business analytics, executive management and Board presentations, as well as process improvement. Within this position, it is required to perform both detailed analysis and summarizing key points for discussion with senior stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role where candidates will come into the office 1-3 days a week

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and collaborate with business units in the development of annual budget, forecasts, and reporting processes. This includes ensuring complete and quality consolidation, addressing complex considerations
  • Produce detailed financial variance analysis with commentaries for actual and forecasts highlighting key performance in both internal reporting as well as external filings. This includes changes in macroeconomic conditions as well as internal operations
  • Support the delivery of comprehensive monthly reporting packages for management, including monthly presentations to leadership and ad-hoc analysis. This includes deep understanding of Risks & Opportunities to support scenario planning
  • Lead cash forecast development and reporting, partnering with surfaces business units on analytics and process improvements. This includes debt leverage and liquidity, as well complex considerations across M&A, interest, and taxes
  • Lead process improvement, automation, standardization, and policy development, and / or other center of excellence initiatives
  • Coordinate with Finance Business Intelligent team to maintain and improve current financial system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant field required
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, especially key involvement in the financial planning forecast in business units
  • Advanced Excel skills and meticulous attention to details
  • Must have desire to own responsibilities and willingness to work over and beyond to get the job done by due date and drive better performance
  • Enjoy managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to distill complexity and quantities of data into actionable insights. An experienced, globally-oriented accounting professional who is adept in accounting and controls
  • Well-developed business acumen and an ability to effectively influence decision-making by drawing on analysis and insight
  • Skilled at balancing the need to be collaborative with the need to be assertive and directive
  • A deep commercial knowledge of key business drivers and builds relationships across the enterprise, appropriately balancing business objectives and compliance with U.S. federal tax requirements
  • Integrates the function and brings added rigor and engagement.
  • Will have well-developed leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, and a collaborative orientation necessary to thrive in a matrixed and evolving environment, where success depends on partnering with diverse functional and operating colleagues
  • Proactively builds relationships, communicates in business terms, and can convey complex financial concepts crisply and compellingly
  • Possesses unquestioned integrity and ethics and brings a strong character that quickly gains the confidence and trust of others

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $x110k to $130k + 10% annual Bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
