Job Description

Our drivers are compassionate, caring, reliable and responsible individuals charged with getting clients with mobility challenges to their destinations safely and on time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide transportation to and from scheduled appointments for Medicaid clients, following a pre-approved schedule with minimal supervision.

Provide Door to Door Service

• A good working knowledge of the Colorado Springs area a plus.
• Know how to keep a level head in a busy environment Must be passionate about helping people.
• Great communication skills.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Pre-Employment Screenings:

• DOT Medical Certification
• Background Check
• Drug Screening
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with 7-year history
• Must adhere to all federal, state and agency rules regarding HIPAA Requirements.
• Be at least 26 years old.
• Possess a valid CO Driving License (for at least 2 years)

EDUCATION

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

For this position the driver will be provided a company vehicle, company cell phone and safety equipment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:

To keep our drivers as safe as possible, NEXUS provides masks which are required to be worn at all times when in contact with clients. NEXUS also provides gloves and disinfectants to keep in the company vehicle.
