Job Title: Planner 2 - Electrical Distribution Design
Location: Remote
We are seeking an experienced Planner 2 to join our team in the Electrical Distribution Design field. The successful candidate will be responsible for project managing, designing and planning electrical distribution systems for our clients. The role requires excellent technical knowledge and communication skills, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Project Management, Design and plan electrical distribution systems for clients, including overhead and underground systems.
Conduct site visits and gather necessary data to inform designs.
Analyze and interpret data to make recommendations and develop solutions.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
Prepare and present technical reports and project plans to clients.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, preferred but not required.
At least 3 years of experience in electrical distribution design.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Proficiency in design software such as Spida Calc, O-Calc, AUD, AutoCAD, PLS_CADD and MicroStation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
