Role Overview:

They are currently seeking an Electronics System Engineer to join their esteemed Electronics Center for Excellence in Simsbury, CT. Reporting to the Product Development Lead, you will be instrumental in architecting and developing high-quality, verifiable requirements that meet and exceed customers' expectations.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical guidance to architect and develop high-quality, verifiable requirements.

  • Leading the derivation and decomposition of system, sub-system, and component requirements.

  • Ensuring strict adherence to project and system requirements.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to identify critical requirements and risks throughout the program life cycle.

  • Facilitating the creation, review, and maintenance of the requirements VCRM, risk register, and risk mitigation plans.

  • Maintaining accurate records in the requirements management tool.

Skills & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience analyzing and developing system, sub-system, and component requirements.

  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams in requirements management activities.

  • A strong background in systems engineering, with relevant education, certification, and affiliations being highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in DOORS is preferred.
