Experienced Veterinary Technician needed at Corona Animal Emergency Center for Overnight/Graveyard shifts!

Corona Animal Emergency Center is a fast-growing state-of-the-art hospital. We are open weekdays (Monday through Thursday) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM and open 24 hours on weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient discharges each morning:

• Process payments
• Email/Fax medical records
• Answer phone calls
• Fill Prescriptions

Care for all patients that may be hospitalized through-out the day:

• IV, SQ, IM injections
• Monitoring vitals
• Administering medications
• Performing diagnostics (bloodwork, radiographs...etc)
• Placing IV Catheters
• Surgery

The ideal candidate:

• Will have at least 2 years of veterinary experience
• Experience with EzyVet and Smartflow are a plus but, not required.
• Ability to be a team player as well as work well independently.
• Will be efficient and pro-active.
• Active Veterinary Assistant Controlled Drug License
• Has AMAZING customer service skills and is able to show respect and kindness to all of our clients and team members
• Enjoys a fast pace environment
