SUMMARY

The Technician enhances the effectiveness of the Forensic Department by assisting the Professional Engineers in the completion of field work and other related tasks.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Drives to and from site inspections on field days.
• Communication and coordination with the Professional Engineering staff.
• Effectively utilizes field tools and technology to assist engineers on site.
• Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency with forensic engineering terms/methodology.
• Willingness and ability to obtain licenses/certifications as required.
• Drone Pilot certified or willingness to be certified.
• Ability to operate 3D scanning devices (i-guide/Matterport), and upload/stitch data in a timely manner.
• Performs miscellaneous additional tasks as necessary.
• Overnight travel as needed.
