We are a Law firm in El Segundo on the border of Manhattan Beach. We are looking for a detail oriented Bookkeeper to join our firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling financial transactions, reconciling operating and trust accounts, handling Payroll through ADP and preparing disbursements. If you have HR experience that is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
Be in Contact with our CPA firm on what reports they need on a monthly basis.
Manage and maintain the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Write checks and process payments to vendors, clients, and other third parties
Reconcile operating and trust accounts on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy.
Prepare financial disbursements for settlements and other financial obligations
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; if you have a bachelor's degree that is a plus
3+ years of experience in bookkeeping within a law firm and Experience with trust accounts
We offer a competitive pay. We are open to Part Time, or a Contract basis. Pay will be dependent on experience, abilities.
