Family Practice / Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider Position

Northern Family Medicine, a department of Northern Regional Hospital, is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our new practice, opening in the Dobson, North Carolina area. We are looking for Advanced Practice Provider who is motivated to help build and serve the patient base in this new market while buiding a solid career as a member of our team. Proficiency in conversational and medical Spanish language is a plus.

In addition to Family Medicine in Mount Airy and Dobson, the Northern Medical Group includes Occupational Health, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Cardiology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Urgent Care.
Northern Regional Hospital is one of largest employers in Mount Airy, employing nearly 1,000 caregivers. The hospital has 133 beds and offers a state-of-the-art Surgery Center with integrated digital operating rooms, caring surgeons and anesthesia team, Obstetrics and Gynecology unit with Level I Nursery and Csection suite on the unit, a Skilled Nursing Facility, full service Hospitalist program, and Emergency Department with 36,000 visits annually.
We are located approximately 1.5 hours from Charlotte, 2.5 hours from Raleigh, and 1 hour from Greensboro. Winston-Salem is a short 30-minute drive away for more exclusive shopping and dining experiences. The population in Mount Airy is around 12,000. Surry County has just over 71,000 citizens and Northern Regional Hospital's primary service area, which includes southern Virginia, is around 95,000.
