Job Description

A Family Nurse Practitioner provides healthcare to families. Our practice is looking someone who is interested in providing comprehensive primary care to patients, while collaborating with other healthcare providers. This position will require a compassionate team player who enjoys ongoing communication with patients and families as well as regular visits to the office and outreach efforts in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to assist with a patient's recovery.
• Provide education to patients on disease processes, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Document the patient's medical history and administer vaccinations or immunizations to protect against communicable diseases.
• Meet with patients to develop health care plans for chronic or acute illnesses or injuries.
• Provide recommendations for preventing illness or disease.
• Communicate health-related information to other members of the health care team.
• Provide leadership in a health care setting by participating in professional development and by providing quality care to patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $124,882.04 - $133,692.23 per year
