Job Description

Job Summary:

The receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors to our office. In charge of giving visitors directions to various parts of the office, contacting employees regarding visitors, answering phones and taking messages, and sorting and distributing mail.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Sorting and distributing mail.
  • Assisting clients in finding their way around the office.
  • Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
  • Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes.
  • Helping maintain workplace security by issuing visitor badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
