Shift: Shift: 8AM-4PM Monday - Friday

Community Medical Services (CMS) is now hiring a Front Desk Receptionist to greet and receive clients for patient care. Whether coordinating client appointments, receiving fees for treatment, or ensuring a smooth check-in process, your work is integral to fostering a safe place for anyone beginning their recovery journey with us.

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Enjoys a consistent schedule.
  • Is excited to work in an outpatient setting, much like a doctor’s office.
  • Remains friendly, helpful, and courteous when interacting with clients, including those who are chemically dependent.
To thrive in this role, you must be able to:
  • Greet and receive clinic clientele and guests.
  • Answer incoming clinic phone calls, taking messages when appropriate.
  • Schedule medical and clinical appointments for all clients.
  • Monitor clinic lobby and assist with efficient check in and dosing.
  • Receive all fees for service from the private paying clientele, including maintaining accurate and complete financial records within a computer system.
  • Send all information requested to the business manager, adjusting when appropriate.
  • Complete required financial paperwork in a timely fashion.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
  • Attend required staff meetings, workshops, and training as assigned by the clinic manager.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma plus work experience (required)
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and receptionist duties.
  • Experience in a medical facility is desirable, but not required.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
