The office receptionist reports to the COO and is responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, as well as needed clerical/office duties.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone and direct callers to the appropriate associate.
  • Greet guests/clients/visitors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner.
  • Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
  • Keep front desk information and numbers updated.
  • Maintain neat appearance of front desk and receptionist area.
  • Assists other departments with work as needed and coordinated through manager.
  • Provide caller with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax number, company website and other related information.
  • Receives, sorts, and passes out incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
  • Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services
  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and ordering.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Training/Experience:

  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • License/Certification: None
  • Experience: A minimum of 6months to a year of experience. Demonstrated basic knowledge of utilizing office systems such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
