Our Front Office Receptionist acts as liaison, warmly greeting patients and notifying the appropriate staff members of their arrival. Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service
- Medical practice experience is preferred, preferably in an aesthetic or spa environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcome new and existing patients, ensuring that they have the best possible patient experience
- Confirm with each patient upon each visit that patient information on file with the practice is accurate and up-to-date. Accurately record updates and corrections as needed
- Answer all incoming phone calls promptly in a friendly and helpful manner and be prepared to answer any questions they may have regarding treatments or products
- Triage calls to appropriate personnel
- Regularly check on patients in the waiting room to ensure each is comfortable. Reassure those patients subject to excessive waits and informs clinical staff of status as needed. Ensure furnishings and magazines are orderly and clean.
- Schedule both new and existing patients
- Assemble new patient paperwork and consents
- Conduct confirmation calls for patient appointments
- Scanning all necessary paperwork into patient’s charts
- Strive to make sure the patient’s transition from front to their provider is seamless
- Educate patients on any skincare they may have questions about or that a provider recommended
- Check patients in and out for their appointments, collecting payment if necessary
- Stock product shelves and ensure they are clean and the office is aesthetically pleasing

- Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer
- Comply with HIPPA regulation to protect patient information
- Follow procedures to open and close office as well as maintain cleaning standards of wiping down surfaces in front office
- Demonstrates initiative in accomplishing practice goals
- Ability to grow, adapt, and accept change
- Consistently creating a positive work environment by being team-oriented and patient-focused

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
