Razorfish is currently looking for a Ad Operations/Ad Technology leader to lead our Ad Operations craft. This is a strategic role that oversees all digital campaign executions within an office or region, including resource management, new business, staffing/retention, working with clients, driving innovation, protecting margin, maximizing efficiencies and managing complex problems. This individual possesses extremely strong communication skills and collaborates regularly with multiple groups (media, social, business intelligence, etc.) in an effort to ensure smooth, strategic executions. This individual also works to make the discipline a center of excellence within Razorfish and across Publicis Media constantly striving for innovation, business growth and efficiency wherever possible. This role will publish and put forward internal and external POV's on the impact of changes in the adtech space and begin to establish a voice on key industry topics. The ideal candidate will have practical, hands-on-experience in various ad technology solutions including Ad Servers, Brand Safety Providers, Dynamic Creative Solutions and DSP’s. They should have strong technical capabilities and the ability to build robust adtech systems to connect audiences to media to measurement.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates a vision and strategy that drives results and helps maintain differentiation of the Razorfish media practice through our focus on Ad Operations and flawless delivery.
  • Supports existing clients and new business development with a focus on strategic perspectives on key adtech and martech integration points and how this unlocks opportunities for our clients to reach their customers.
  • Manages multiple internal and external initiatives in a deadline-driven environment which include toolset evaluation, training program rollout, certification, etc.
  • Manages the on-boarding of new clients from tool selection and setup through ongoing activation
  • Champions the continued development of the Ad Services practice nationally with a focus on building a center of excellence and growing our nearshore capabilities.
  • Assesses operational gaps between desired and actual state of opportunities in order to bridge them.
  • Collaborates with Media Leadership and day-to-day teams to continually improve processes. Ensures excellence across clients and fosters an environment of quick problem solving.
  • Champions continuous improvement throughout the organization, connecting improvements to P&L performance and delivery excellence.
  • Manages the recruitment, retention and professional development of the discipline nationally, identifying and communicating performance standards.
  • Monitors and evaluates the overall department to ensure needs of existing clients are met, accommodate new business opportunities and adjust to industry trends.
  • Partners with the media leadership to represent Ad Services in any relevant Publicis Media integration points and be a bridge with Publicis Media COE’s to bring best tools, process and ways of working to Razorfish clients


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Has exhibited a proven understanding of the ad technology and ad operations landscape and the unique aspects that impact management and business operations.
  • Has successfully led change management initiatives and rolled out new approaches (tools and process) to servicing clients.
  • Has demonstrated client service and new business experience and can sell a vision for the practice and the role of strong ad operations within a client environment.
  • Has led the management tier of Ad Services and has successfully implemented the agency’s products and services.


Qualifications
  • Minimum 12+ years experience in marketing, digital advertising, management consulting. 8+ years in business/agency management.
  • Experience managing people

Compensation Range: $167,000 - $299,500. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
