Overview

Red Slopes Soccer is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Academy Director of Coaching to lead the development of our youth soccer programs. The successful candidate will oversee the coaching staff, develop and implement training programs, and ensure that all players are provided with a positive and safe learning environment. The ideal candidate will live in either the Salt Lake City area or the St. George area.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching program that aligns with the club's philosophy and objectives
  • Report to Technical Director
  • Oversee and manage the coaching staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest quality coaching for all players
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with players, parents, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all communication is timely, accurate and professional
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of all coaches, providing regular feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all players
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including safeguarding and child protection policies

Technical Qualifications

  • Minimum of a USSF B License
  • USSF DOC or Academy Director License a plus.
  • UEFA License a plus.
  • Proven experience in coaching and player development at the youth level
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire coaches and players
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with players, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of current coaching methodologies and best practices in youth soccer development

Requirements

  • Clean background check required.
  • Must hold/obtain valid passport and driver's license.

Full-time position (40 flexible hours per week, Monday to Sunday) with flexible working arrangements/hours.

May be required to work outside of normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays. May also be required to support and work in different bases of 7 Elite Academy (domestic and international). Travel required.
