REPORTING INTO THE CORPORATE, READING PA. OFFICE TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY.

WORK REMOTELY MONDAY AND FRIDAY.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a talented and competitive inside sales representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. As an inside sales representative, you will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager and communicate with both our outside technical sales representatives and our EnerSys authorized dealer network daily to ensure a smooth sales process. You will demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism while preparing proposals and submitting orders to our internal customer service group via Salesforce for final order entry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Motive Power battery and charger product knowledge and answering technical questions pertaining to our products.
  • Communicate effectively via telephone, and email with customers, and create exceptional rapport.
  • Process domestic and international purchase orders ensuring the accuracy of the information provided and initiating appropriate communication to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Provide total support to outside technical sales representatives.
  • Attend and participate in periodic sales training where applicable.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to technical sales representatives and team members with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email, cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Proven inside or outside sales experience.
  • This position will work in a corporate office setting. One must have a strong phone presence and be able to experience dozens of incoming/outgoing phone calls and emails per day.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Must be able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
  • Other duties may be assigned later.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4 years of Inside/Outside Sales Experience.
  • Vast knowledge of all EnerSys Motive Power products.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, Salesforce, or similar CRM.
  • Fluent in OEM Specs and EnSite software.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field

  • Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
  • This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
