Position Overview
As a Software Engineering Intern on the Civil Worksharing team, you will contribute to the evolution of our data platform that enables our customers to design, build and construct a better world. This cloud information model puts data at the center by connecting our flagship desktop products to AWS using the Autodesk Platform Services.
Throughout the internship, you’ll be testing framework that automates the validation of data flow through each of the property set libraries (implemented in TypeScript, Java and C++). You’ll have the opportunity to learn the value of unit testing and help the team ensure that key libraries that our products depend on work seamlessly together.
Responsibilities
  • Having a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate through Autodesk as a whole. From onboarding to your intern project, your mentor will get you ramped up and ready to make an impact - all while showing you what it means to be at Autodesk
  • Develop high quality and stable code
  • Contribute to improvements in processes that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team in responding to business needs
  • Enthusiasm to share knowledge, learn from others and actively engage in various agile team meetings
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2024 with a focus in Computer Science or other related fields
  • Strong CS Fundamentals
  • Past experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and C++
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of unit test frameworks

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized base salary between $41,000 and $81,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
