Jr Paralegal/Legal Assistant for Personal Injury Attorney:

Position Details:

Pacific Cascade Legal is a looking for a full or Part time Jr Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our Portland, Oregon Team. The best candidates will be able to step right in and handle day to day tasks in our legal suite. This role will offer in office support to our legal staff, working directly with our PI Attorney and Paralegal team. We are looking for a well-organized individual with previous Paralegal or Legal assistant experience and great time management skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:

· Client File management

· Track and manage incoming documents, scanning and saving to appropriate files.

· E-filing

· Drafting Legal Documents

· Legal research and writing

· Coordinate with team members on projects to hit goals and deadlines.

· Managing attorney schedules.

· Assisting with all-around day to day functions of the firm and following all policies and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience
  • Personal Injury experience preferred
  • Tech Savvy with computer skills in Outlook, Microsoft, Excel and Word
  • Experience with CLIO is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great Organizational Skills
  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic office equipment experience required.
  • Live Local to the Tacoma area and can easily commute to the office.
