The Laundry Craft Support worker maintains and repairs laundry carts and bags. They perform preventive maintenance and minor operational repairs on equipment. They will assist journeymen in repair of mechanical, piping, electrical, chemical, and related laundry processing equipment. This is a field service position that may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.

Starting rate of pay for this role is: $18.00

Responsibilities:

• Perform minor building maintenance functions and minor operational repairs
• Serve as parts runner
• Assist journeyman
• Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required

Basic Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Must have a level of experience that demonstrates knowledge of general repairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with preventive maintenance of plant, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building support systems
