Learning Consultant

Position Overview

Working with our customers to provide applicable learning services and content to move their personnel to a higher competency on Siemens products and software, this position will be critical to improving customer adoption rates and eliminate frustration with Siemens. The position will also consult on staff competencies and assessments with end customers, and devise learning paths for the organization. Custom courseware for customer demand will also be requested, and need to be developed.

  • Conducts individual and group technical training courses and activities for employees and customers.
  • Identifies customers needs.
  • Evaluates and obtains training programs and materials from external vendors.
  • Completes development of new course materials.
  • Prepares cost calculation of trainings.
  • Performs trainings or organizes and supervises trainings services for clients.
  • Reviews feedback, and modifies/revises course materials as instructed.
  • May provide technical support in case of complaints.

Responsibilities

  • Links multiple key knowledge areas and demonstrates very high professional judgment competence.
  • Exhaustive use of know-how to solve highly complex problems.
  • Changes existing ways and approaches in an innovative manner to achieve higher business impact.
  • Valued and recognized as a specialist within Siemens in respective field and internally trusted advisor to functional or line management

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • 10+ years
  • Masters, or equivalent experience
