JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the VP, Global Food Safety & Quality, the Digital Food Safety & Quality Lead will build and deploy the digital strategy for Food Safety & Quality. This individual will establish digital tools for FSQ to assure effective use of data from regions into global scorecards, reporting and analysis tools. She or he will partner with regional FSQ teams to establish data entry approach that facilitates regional to global scorecards and data sets. As need, they will partner with Digital team to establish data protocols. This role will be critical to unlock data from key sources (such as SAP) in a way data sets can be integrated and used to provide insights to and drive overall FSQ performance globally.

Works with regional and global teams to build capabilities and increase efficiencies to allow real time assessment of our FSQ performance.

• 
  Build integrate FSQ scorecard – with data entered once at source, rolled up through plant – region to globe.
• Identify, unlock relevant sources of data to evaluate FSQ performance with tool to analyses and correlate data smartly.
• Build predictive performance tools to shift from reactive (rear mirror) quality management to pro-active predictive quality management
• Data to support risk management assessments (example: leading indicator trends, correlation of data to highlight potential future failure (integrate across KEFSQ, AIB, AQ, complaints etc.)
• Bring tools to automate business reports.

Provide analysis against key performance indicators, and to extract meaningful insight correlations and understanding that will underpin our quality management approaches.

• AIB – results, trends and pareto of top issues.
• AQI – results, trends, frequency / cost; repeat issues and pareto top issues
• Complaints – link complaints to analysis
• Cuttings – results, trend, pareto issues; + link to internal quality metrics and sensory results
• Drive customer focus, with customer focused data
• Partner with “team” to establish internal measure of quality… using existing data to measure quality to customer / design data needs / system to achieve it.
• Bring statistic / analysis capability to provide data based focus to key areas of opportunity
• Presents data in a way that can be understood, and uses to extract and lead critical insights.
• Issues management support

Will periodically support Sustainability and Safety to drive consistency in data, reporting and analysis

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

• Change Management: ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communication platforms to ensure success of projects
• Facilitations Skills: ability to work with the regions and collect various input with the goal of value-added standardization
• Will bring data, statistical based thinking and build as a core competence and focus for our quality management at McCain, and will unlock key insights to drive, accelerate and sustain FSQ performance against key metrics.

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

• 5- 7 years’ experience in variety of digital roles with focus on manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.
• Digital dexterity and experience with SAP and MS tools (i.e. Power BI, Azure data lake, PowerApps, etc.)
• Ability to present complex datasets in clear, meaningful ways. Is able to present and organize data with clear insights and conclusions to inform leaders, QLT and teams against key business objectives.
• Experience with leading transformative initiatives, demonstrating an ability to influence the business to achieve rapid step-change in results. Candidates must be hands on, demonstrate a strong intellect and superior skills in communications, combined with a drive to deliver results.
• Passion for technology and process with strong desire to build an industry leading team enabled by technology and our people. Champion of automation, analytics, reusable platform and tools.
• Strong presentation and facilitations skills
• Project and change management to handle multiple projects (small and large) with conflicting priorities and deliver projects on time with excellence
• Independent and tactical with a proven ability to develop professional relationships and work in a team-oriented environment
• Works well under pressure, change and ambiguity
