Looking for an experienced and reliable bi-lingual Medical Assistant to perform office and clinical duties to keep our practice running efficiently. The position requires to work 2 days in Orlando (metro west area)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:

1. Rooming patients

2. Maintain, sterilize and clean medical equipment.

3. Stock/ copy information sheets into bins in exam rooms.

4. Set up, prepare, clean examination rooms for next patient.

5. Record vital signs, blood pressure, temp, weight, height, pulse, etc.

6. Prepare patients for special procedures.

7. Assist during simple office surgical procedures.

8. Greeting Patients with courtesy.

9. Interpret for the clinical staff when necessary, Spanish/English.

10. Ability to relate to the public regardless of racial, ethnic and economic status

11. Prepare and draw up liquid medications as ordered.

12. Teach and instruct patients on proper administration of injectable medications

13. Answer phones and relay patient’s request and questions.

14. Able to check and answer voicemails

15. Inputting and updating patient's past medical history, family history, social history and medication history.

16. Prepare Charts

17. Meeting with drugs representatives.

18. Process & store Faxes accordingly

19. Follow-up on messages

Requirements:

1. Medical Assistant Graduate OR Medical Assistant experience 1 years

2. Bilingual

3. MA certification is a plus

3. Multitasking and team player

4. Experience with electronic medical records

5. Communication skills

Pay: 16.00-17.00
