The position of Medical Assistant is crucial to maintaining the function of our team and the satisfaction of our patients. It's a fast-paced and challenging job, with a high level of responsibility. We're looking for an assistant who can prioritize tasks, work quickly and efficiently and make decisions independently. The right candidate will be able to interact positively with patients, hospital staff and medical professionals, while working in a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients, monitor clinic flow, perform administrative tasks, and schedule appointments and hospital procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records.
• Perform bookkeeping and medical billing tasks.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, take vital signs, and clean exam rooms.
• Assist licensed medical professionals with minor surgery and procedures.
• Maintain surgical tools and autoclave.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• San Mateo, CA 94401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
