Synergy Billing Services is looking for an experienced, motivated, and dedicated ambulance billing specialist in the San Antonio area.

Qualifications:

• Experience in medical billing & coding preferred

• Proficient use and comprehension of medical terminology

• Computer proficiency – Windows based platform; including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

• Strong written and verbal communications skills; including the ability to work with customers in a professional and courteous manner

• Excellent and effective organizational skills

• Highschool diploma or equivalent

• Knowledge of billing codes; such as but not limited to CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and respective claim modifiers

• Maintain up to date knowledge of billing regulations and changes

• Payment posting

• Bilingual candidates preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Position is responsible for a variety of billing related processes

• Abide by HIPPA/HITECH laws and applicable policies

• Liaison between ambulance providers and insurances

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $16-18 per hour (based on experience)

Monday – Friday (some flexibility with scheduled hours)

This position is “on site” and “in-office” ONLY, full-time (avg. 40 hours/week)
