Job Description

Interventional pain management private practice that services the RGV.

Greet patients and visitors; courteous, polite and provide excellent customer service.

Ability to answer and direct all phone calls appropriately received in office practice maintaining customer service skills.

Make appointments for new and established patients.

Register new patients and review information on established patients as they return to the office.

Checking patients both in and out of the practice as needed, and properly documenting registration including insurance coverage

Protect patient's right by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments

Reminding patients of upcoming appointments and tracking missed appointments

Insurance verification and verification of patient demographics for established patients.

Retrieving and filing of medical records and delivering/scanning to the appropriate providers as needed.

Collecting co-pays and cash from patients, getting authorization on credit cards

Prepare deposit for team member to deposit in bank as needed

Entering charges, payments, and daily balancing, as needed

Other duties as assigned

Rooms all patients according to clinic and provider

Prepares charts for all clinical patients

Performs in-take of all required patient's vital sign and clinical information with proper documentation

Assists with entering prescription orders into EMR

Prior authorizations

Cleans and stocks assigned exam rooms and procedure rooms

Adheres to proper standard precautions when required in clinical setting

Experience:

Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Medical terminology: 1 year (preferred)

Computer skills / EMR: 1 years (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
