Responsible for accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time, typically in electronic medical records (EMRs) or other medical documentation systems. The job description for a medical scribe generally includes the following duties:

• Accompanying the physician during patient visits
• Recording patient history, symptoms, and other pertinent information during the visit
• Transcribing the physician's examination findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans
• Entering orders for medications, labs, and other diagnostic tests
• Managing communication between the physician and other healthcare providers, such as nurses and pharmacists
• Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of the patient's medical record

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
