Job Description

The LFS Group is looking for a Medical Transcriptionist that will be responsible for transcribing various medical reports, and performing general secretarial duties.

This position is located at Northside Hospital. Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing. Schedule:

There are two available schedules available below. Schedule is based off preference of candidate.

• 11:30 am to 8:00 pm
• Monday through Friday

Or

• 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
• Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

• Producing medical reports and records, correspondence for Physicians, patient information and other administrative material such as statistics and patient data
• Reviewing and editing transcriptions for spelling, grammar, clarity and correct medical terminology
• Maintaining medical files and databases for various records such as medical histories

Qualifications:

• Minimum of (6) months prior transcription or secretarial experience.
• Must have excellent knowledge of medical terminology, English grammar, composition, and spelling.
• Must have word processing experience, and ability to type sixty (60) words per minute.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
