Position Summary

As The Nickel greeter, you are the first interaction with our restaurant guests. It is a fun and fast paced position that is very rewarding. Maintaining a great attitude and smile, while assisting wait staff with restaurant needs helps ensure our guests have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to company policies and standards.
  • Takes pride in proper professional conduct and appearance.
  • Uses professional phone etiquette.
  • Assists with restaurant cleaning duties.
  • Inspect all menus to ensure their condition and cleanliness.
  • Seat guests in a courteous and friendly manner and all needs are met.
  • Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations.
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate and set for each guest.
  • Helps turn tables and run food.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Food and Beverage Knowledge.
  • OpenTable Knowledge Preferred.
  • Understanding of the history of our hotel and restaurant.

Education

  • High school diploma or vocational secretarial.

Physical Demands

  • Able to lift 25lbs.
  • Able to stand for 6+ hours
